Great Craft Beer comes from Great Brewing Minds and we have some of the iconic brewers and brewing celebrities in the craft beer world. Hailing from landmark breweries including Boulder Beer, Cigar City, Lagunitas and Stone, these industry leaders have a wealth of knowledge to share plus great people to hang out with onboard The Lebrewski Cruise. You will be able to interact with them in a variety of ways, including the following:

Jeff Brown – President | Boulder Beer Company

jeff-boulderbeerJeff Brown is President of Boulder Beer Company joining Brewmaster David Zuckerman in 1990 where they began reshaping Colorado’s 1st Craft Brewery.

Jeff is a Florida native born in Winter Haven. After having fully mastered the fundamentals of beer drinking during the early ‘70’s, he migrated to Colorado in 1974, giving him a front row seat to watch the world of craft beer grow from a handful of pioneers to 3500+ craft breweries.

When Jeff isn’t roaming around the brewery or pedaling a bike he enjoys traveling, cooking and hiking with his wife Michelle and their dog, Pancho Villa.

Justin Clark is the Vice President of Cigar City Brewing. He has been with CCB for five years and has over fifteen years of experience in the brewing industry. Mr. Clark is responsible for sales growth in Florida and select national accounts. He co-founded Cigar City Cider & Mead in 2013.

 

Ron Lindenbusch – Chief Marketing Officer and “Beer Weasel” | Lagunitas Brewing Company

ron-lagunitasbrewingRon Lindenbusch grew up in St. Louis and moved to Northern California in 1984, where he discovered a fledgling craft brewing scene the likes of which Missouri had not yet seen.

Ron found his way into the craft brewing scene via the restaurant business. He began pushing beers such as Acme and Grant’s as these pioneers were making their first splashes in the mid-80s. He left his corporate restaurant gig to run the Tavern at the Hopland Brewery — the first brewpub since Prohibition — in 1989. He never looked back. From there he went on to partner up at the Wild Hare Tavern in Santa Rosa in 1991, featuring 30 draft beers, with 28 of them being craft and imports.

Ron moved to the distribution end of the beer business and helped turn Marino Distributing in Sonoma from a wine distributor that carried Stroh’s products into a craft beer house that carried wine (and Stroh’s), joining in on the explosion of craft beer as it unfolded in Northern California. Shortly after Tony Magee founded Lagunitas Brewing Company in 1993, Ron joined on to head up the marketing and distribution side of things. They had an unconventional approach to how it should all go, and developed an anti-marketing approach to beer marketing that focuses on relationships and having fun.

 

Eric Wallace – President | Left Hand Brewing Company

Eric Wallace is the President and co-founder of Indian Peaks Brewing Company, parent company of Left Hand Brewing Company. Eric grew up around the world as the son of an Air Force officer, and was exposed to good beer at a precocious age in Germany. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1984 with a degree in international affairs, and spent 8 years in the Air Force as a communications officer in Italy and Turkey before moving back to the U.S. in 1993. Upon his return, he was inspired by the renaissance in craft brewing developing here in the U.S. and, along with co-founder Dick Doore, decided to jump headfirst into the craft beer business.

 

Jeremy Moynier – Lead Brewer | Stone Brewing Company

jeremy-stonebrewingJeremy Moynier is the Lead Brewer for Stone Brewing Co. Jeremy grew up in a family very passionate about beer and wine. After graduating from the University of California, San Diego in 1994 with a BA in Literature/Writing, Jeremy moved to the Central Coast of California where he worked in hospitality, vineyard, and production of wine at Meridian Vineyards. After five years, he joined a new start-up winery as Cellar Master at Chumeia Vineyards. Jeremy eventually came back to San Diego where he joined Stone in 2004.  After working in filtration for a few months, Jeremy started brewing on Stone’s original 30-bbl brewhouse in San Marcos. A year and a ½ later, the brewery moved to its current location in Escondido where Jeremy continued to brew as a shift brewer, eventually becoming the Brewhouse Supervisor and then Lead Brewer.
